Stuck in Salt Lake

So I've just been at a children's book symposium and bought Miss Emma 4 books.  She won't want for reading material.  Tomorrow I am in the Days of '47 Children's Parade.  Not really in it but manning a booth for the library.  I have to go into work also for a little while.  I really wish I could see my little granddaughter.  If I lived in California, I'd be lost.  I really miss that little girl when I don't get to see her every weekend or two.  It is a good thing I have a very busy job to keep me occupied.

Michele made Emma the cutest 4th of July tutu! 

We all love her so much!  She is a little fatty.



 I think, though, I am a little biased. 





When the tutu was off little Emma, here is what Shawn and I did with it...

Michele probably wanted to kill us but we didn't do it to disrespect her work.  I think she is very talented!  I just thought Gus would look cute.  And he did!
